ABOUT ME!
A Visionary in Queer Entertainment
Lucinda B. Hind, also known as Lulu Vincent, is a visionary creative director, performer, and co-founder of EACH AGENCY (Launching soon), setting new standards in queer entertainment by blending drag, burlesque, circus, and theatre into immersive, boundary-pushing experiences. A non-binary, queer artist, Lucinda is passionate about bringing queer stories to the forefront, infusing every project with colour, sparkle, and unapologetic expression.
Artistic Roots and Training
Trained at the prestigious Rose Bruford Drama School, Lucinda combines a strong foundation in performance with a distinctive, innovative approach to storytelling. In addition, Lucinda has trained extensively in aerial circus across Spain, Thailand, Mexico, and London, mastering a variety of disciplines that inform their dynamic, multi-disciplinary approach to performance and creative direction. This diverse training enhances Lucinda's ability to create captivating, physically demanding work that pushes the limits of traditional performance art.
Award-Winning Achievements
Over the past six years, Lucinda has been awarded funding for and contributed to projects valued at over £65,000, underscoring their ability to both create and manage high-caliber work. In late 2024, Lucinda was awarded £30,000 from the Arts Council to develop a solo show—a homage to queer icons. This exciting project is currently in development, with plans to bring it to life in 2025, further cementing Lucinda’s place as a forward-thinking, influential figure in the arts. Lucinda’s passion for fostering inclusivity and creative risk-taking drives their work, ensuring that queer voices are not just heard, but celebrated and elevated.
Commitment to Inclusivity and Risk-Taking / Producing and Curating for Queer Communities
Lucinda’s work as both a performer and producer has earned them recognition across the arts community. As the producer of the entertainment side of Hackney Bridge Queer Fair alongside Raze Collective in 2022 and 2023, Lucinda curated and managed performances for this community-centered event under the name NAKEDpresents (a queer collective), which was awarded funding from the National Lottery Fund two years in a row. In addition, NAKEDpresents successfully produced a monthly queer club night and cabaret for 1.5 years, further solidifying the collective’s role in bringing together queer talent and fostering community. These initiatives showcased the importance of inclusivity and provided a platform for emerging queer performers.
Global Performances and Recognition
In addition to their producing work, Lucinda has performed internationally at renowned venues such as Wintergarten in Berlin for the Boylesque Festival. This performance marked the beginning of their international career, leading to opportunities across the globe, including in New York, Seychelles, Portugal, Monaco, Riyadh, Ibiza, and Zurich, further solidifying their position as a pioneering figure in the world of performance.
Lucinda’s collaborations and productions include projects such as Black Skull, Glitterbox, burning man, MiMis, Ohlala Burlesque, Private Drama, Pinky Promise, Vintage Arts Agency, Citizen M, The Windmill, Performer Nation, Bearded kitten , and the Zurich Burlesque Festival, all of which demonstrate their versatility and commitment to breaking boundaries in the world of burlesque and avant-garde performance art. Whether producing avant-garde events or performing on iconic stages, Lucinda is committed to creating unforgettable experiences that challenge expectations and inspire audiences.
EACH AGENCY: Empowering Emerging Talent
Lucinda is currently developing a new creative agency alongside Grace Zito, called EACH AGENCY, which will aim to provide a platform for both emerging and established talent to break boundaries and captivate mainstream audiences. With a fierce commitment to authenticity and creativity, Lucinda continues to push the limits of what's possible, aiming to leave a lasting impact on the world of performance and entertainment.
Teaching the Next Generation of Performers
Beyond their performance and creative direction, Lucinda has taught expressive movement and physical theatre at Rose Bruford Drama School, Regents University, Nonsuch Studios, Nottingham Playhouse, and LMA Drama School. Through these roles, Lucinda has fostered the development of actors, teaching them to embrace their full creative potential and to explore movement as a key tool in storytelling. Lucinda’s teaching reflects their belief in the transformative power of movement-based expression, which seamlessly connects with their performance practice.
Workshops for Self-Expression and Creativity
Lucinda is also preparing to launch drag and makeup workshops via their website, offering a platform for individuals to explore the transformative power of drag, makeup artistry, and self-expression. These workshops will cater to anyone looking to develop their skills or simply explore the art form, with a focus on inclusivity and creativity.
